The home of C.S. Lewis,Tolkien, Lewis Carroll and so many other amazing writers, readers and thinkers. I feel so privileged to have this opportunity and I am thrilled that I get to share this adventure with you! Hopefully this will be a fun way to share with my family and friends what I am learning, seeing and reading; and the misadventures (I know I will get lost once or twice... or many, many times), fears and musings.
The Facts
I will be living, studying and traveling in Europe for three months in the fall. I am studying British Literature and history, focusing mostly on C.S. Lewis and Jane Austen. I am hoping to travel to as many places and to see as many things as I possibly can in three short months. And since I love photography, I am hoping to take hundreds of pictures (you think I'm kidding? Just you wait...) to share with you! And you might even be subject to me geeking out about all the crazy academics I will be exposed to, so bear with me!There are a few people I need to give a shout out to and thank for this process. My family is amazing and I hope that they know how much they mean to me. Their support on this crazy adventure has made this trip possible. And my sweet boyfriend Aaron. Three months is a long time to be gone, but you are the reason I have the courage to go.And my friends and professors at Jessup, you are amazing and have made this a dream come true. Thank you for all your help and prayers!
